Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 didn’t take any shortcuts to the top. The TRX 3.3 Racing Engine delivers peak horsepower with a factory-installed performance-tuned aluminum pipe that’s been beautifully blue-anodized and laser etched. New precision hex hardware adds high-tech flair and makes servicing easy. The new ball-bearing equipped bellcrank steering system tightens the response for expert handling. The efficient 3-belt drive system has been enhanced for the extra speed and power with larger pulleys and a wider rear belt.

Nitro 4-Tec has hot new look with complex, innovative body graphics that reflect the style and speed of the underlying chassis. New grey parts and white powder-coated springs brighten the chassis and make it easier to appreciate the detailed engineering that makes it all work. The 2.0 Mesh wheels offer classic styling that withstands the test of time. EXTREME POWER FOR EXPERT DRIVERS

Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 is not for everyone. This product is capable of extreme speed and acceleration! It carries our highest skill level rating (5) and is intended for expert drivers only. Experience with nitro-powered radio controlled models is required. The driver must exercise all caution and accept full responsibility for their own safety, and the safety of others nearby. Full-speed operation requires a large running area free of obstacles and closed-off to pedestrian and automobile traffic.

EZ-Start® Electric Starting

Resonator™ Blue-Anodized Aluminum Tuned Pipe
The Traxxas Resonator aluminum tuned pipe is precision-engineered to maximize power output from the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine. The silicone stinger cover provides extra safety. Improved top-end power, enhanced bottom-end punch and smooth, linear power are the combined result of the laser-etched Resonator tuned pipe and the extreme horsepower of the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine.

New Gray Components
Fresh, high-contrast gray chassis components cover the upper deck of the chassis and connect to the 6061 T6 blue-anodized aluminum chassis. The dual-plane chassis layout makes for a solid platform that is able to stand up to sweltering speeds.

Precision ball bearing bellcranks give a new meaning to control. Feel the road with every input and carve new lines with expert accuracy.

New Receiver Box
An enclosed receiver box provides premium protection against fuel spills, dirt and dust.

Wide Rear Belt and Large Pulleys
A wide rear belt was designed to handle the massive power output from the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine. And, to compensate for the increased power, oversized pulleys were implemented to push Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 beyond the 70mph mark.

Oil-filled Ultra Shocks™
Oil-filled Ultra Shocks with new gray shock bodies powder-coated white springs deliver silky-smooth performance and precise damping control with racing-style clip-on pre-load spring spacers. High-tech and long-lasting X-ring seals provide superior sealing and reduced friction.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings
Efficient rubber-sealed ball bearings throughout ensure smooth, long-lasting and precise performance. They provide ultimate protection to minimize maintenance in high-speed, nitro environments.

All-Wheel-Drive Driveline
An efficient, three-belt all-wheel-drive system delivers smooth power to the front and rear hardened-steel planetary gear differentials.

Adjustable Two-Speed Transmission
The adjustable two-speed transmission delivers blistering acceleration in first gear and automatically shifts into second gear for 70+mph speeds!

Pre-Glued Tires on Mesh Wheels
High-performance, directional racing tires come pre-glued on 2.0-inch mesh wheels. Contoured-foam inserts strengthen the sidewalls and keep the tires on the asphalt.

Gear Differentials with Ball Bearings
Bearing supported differentials are supported by the housings, not the output shafts, eliminating destruction of the internal differential components caused by belt tension.

Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles
Steel turnbuckles with durable captured rod ends allow the adjustment of tow-in and camber. Nitro 4-Tec’s adjustability provides a wide-range of setup options to suit virtually any on-road condition.

U-Joint Driveshafts
Power is transferred via smooth, slider-style U-joint driveshafts from the differentials to the wheels for reliable power delivery.

High-Impact Bumper w/Foam Attachments
Designed specifically to protect the front end of the Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 this bumper can handle a tremendous amount of abuse. To add to the protection, a rough foam attachment is included.

Center-Mounted Fuel Tank
The centrally mounted fuel tank is secured low in the center of the chassis so that the car’s handling is not affected as the fuel level changes. The central location provides excellent balance and an extremely low center of gravity.

Countersunk 6061-T6 Aluminum Chassis
Fully countersunk, 2.5mm 6061-T6 aluminum chassis integrates the engine mount and top plate giving Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 the most rigid chassis structure in its class.
