Extended Wheelbase Chassis
is most recognizable for its unique and innovative suspension design. The key to
Revo's remarkable handling is in the rockers. Revo's patent-pending
linkage-based suspension not only delivers the most suspension travel of
any monster truck, it constantly varies both the spring force and damping to
match suspension movement. Over small bumps, the suspension is light and
responsive, reacting instantly to the surface. Compress the suspension over
large jumps and the rocker geometry progressively increases the spring force and
shock damping. In an instant, the suspension automatically becomes stiffer when
you need it most. Ride height, progressive rate, and damping can all be fine
tuned independently of the other. The result is a no-compromise setup that
simply would not be possible with conventional suspension design. Only Revo
delivers the best handling for every extreme.

Revo is equipped with 17mm splined aluminum wheel hubs and nuts
for precise wheel engagement and unsurpassed torque handling. Anodized in
brilliant blue, the hub design also accepts traditional aftermarket 17mm hex
racing wheels, including the Revo Platinum wheels. A single digital,
high-torque, ball-bearing servo enhances steering authority while eliminating
the weight of a second steering servo. Superior suspension damping is provided
by GTR? shocks that feature hard-anodized, Teflon?-coated bodies

cooling head, dyno-proven IPS crankshaft, multi-port rear exhaust, and the
starting convenience of the exclusive Traxxas EZ-Start? system. Years of testing

powerful Ready-To-Race? engine available.
For the ultimate combination of torque and high-revving
horsepower, we couldn?t resist taking the Extreme Power of TRX 3.3 engine to the
next level by adding a dyno-tuned aluminum Revo? Resonator dual-chamber pipe and
oversized Traxxas high-volume dual-stage air filter. The result is more
horsepower throughout the entire powerband that you can feel and hear.
Dual-Chamber Aluminum Pipe
The dual chamber Resonator? aluminum pipe delivers the most broad and linear
power band from the TRX? 3.3 Racing Engine. It's dyno-tuned for torque down low
and big horsepower on the top end. Mirror-polish finish looks great and stays
High-Volume Dual-Stage Air Filter
Engineered to work with all Traxxas air filter bases, the new extra large
dual-stage air filter increases air flow to the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine. With more
air intake the TRX 3.3 holds an incredibly consistent tune during long dusty
mains. The dual-stage traps large particles in the outer element, while the
inner element flows clean air to the engine. The large free flowing cylindrical
design allows more air to get to the carburetor, which equals more horsepower!
Only the Traxxas EZ-Start offers the pure convenience of true one-handed
operation and complete on-board, push-button electric starting. The Traxxas EZ-Start
lights your glow plug and starts your engine quickly and smoothly at the push of
a button. Traxxas? exclusive Smart Start? technology monitors critical starting
functions, automatically sensing and diagnosing potential problems for
troublefree engine starting every time! LEDs provide realtime status, even
alerting you when a glow plug has failed.
The new larger fuel tank increases Revo?s fuel capacity for extended run times.
In addition to adding capacity and run time, the new 150cc tank is engineered to
seal properly every time for consistent tuning. Like the 125cc Revo tank, this
larger tank is also baffled and sumped to prevent fuel starvation.
Teflon?-Coated GTR Shocks
Ultra-long lasting hard-anodized, Teflon?-coated aluminum GTR shocks are the
ultimate in off-road performance, offering silky smooth damping. Thanks to the
extra tough hard-anodized finish, shock performance stays true and consistent
for less maintenance and better handling.

Wheel Hub and Hex Nut
Newly designed 17mm hubs and wheel nuts provide precision alignment and
unsurpassed torque handling. The all-new splined design interlocks with the new
3.8" mirror-chrome Split-Spoke wheel for a solid fit. The ground-breaking new
design also accepts traditional aftermarket 17mm hex wheels. An easy-to-use
molded wheel wrench is included for easy wheel removal and installation.
6x13mm Outer Axle Bearings
Newly designed axle carriers utilize larger 6x13mm outer ball bearings that can
handle 56% more static load and stress when compared to the stock 6x12mm Revo
ball bearings. The durable, large rubber-sealed ball bearings are designed to
handle hours of nitro off-road racing.
Pivot Ball Retainers
New, steel retainers keep the pivot balls in place even after the most brutal
crash. The new axle carrier design provides all the benefits of aftermarket
aluminum carriers without the penalty in weight and cost.
Receiver and Battery
Box with Integrated Personal
Borrowed from the Revo Platinum Edition, a smaller, more compact radio box
accepts either 4 AA alkaline batteries or a 5-cell flat rechargeable receiver
pack (sold separately). The receiver/battery box is equipped with an on/off
switch and a blue-anodized antenna crimp nut. An integrated personal transponder
mount adds to the clean chassis layout and is another example of the
race-inspired features integrated into the New Revo 3.3.
High-Torque Steering Servo
A monster truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. An
included Traxxas digital high-torque, ball bearing steering servo comes standard
for precision control, quick response, and unmatched torque. It has over 50%
more torque than a standard high-torque servo and it's 25% faster! That's 125
oz-in torque with 0.16-second transit speed!
Channel Micro Receiver
A new four channel Traxxas micro receiver gives you additional room to grow! The
4-channel micro receiver features two steering servo ports, eliminating the need
for a Y-harness.
Throttle Servo Mount
and Air Filter Support Bracket
The new throttle servo mount ties into the chassis to hold the throttle servo
securely in place for strong braking power. Its trimmed down design is lighter
and more compact than the stock throttle servo box, and the mount is also molded
with an extra mounting boss for the air filter stand-off wire.
Wheels with 17mm Hexes
The newly designed 3.8" Split-Spoke wheels for Revo now accept the Traxxas
splined 17mm hubs for added strength, stability, and precision. Traxxas
mirror-chrome Split-Spoke wheels don?t just look amazing; they are fully
functional for a race track or a bash session. The horizontal bead helps grab
the tire, reducing the stress placed on the glue joint by tire expansion.
The Talon?s unique tread pattern and soft compound rubber delivers excellent
grip on a variety of surfaces from pavement to off-road. The outside diameter is
the same as a stock Maxx tire but the larger 3.8" wheel diameter provides
responsive handling with the low-profile sidewall. Talon tires are pre-glued to
Split Spoke wheels with installed foam inserts.
Revo 3.3 utilizes an extended chassis design that merges engineering artwork
with functionality for improved stability on rough terrain. The unique monocoque
chassis is cut and formed from 3mm, 6061-T6 aluminum. The engine cradle and deep
channel design provide superior strength without adding unnecessary weight. An
integrated chassis brace strengthens the chassis around the engine mount. A
cutout below the flywheel provides flywheel access for aftermarket starter
Shifting Two-Speed Transmission
The heavy-duty forward-only two-speed is easy to adjust and delivers smooth and
consistent shifts every time. A simple twist of a 2.0mm hex wrench and the shift
point can be adjusted to shift earlier or later. To further the custom tuning
experience, special close and standard ratio gear sets can be installed to
tailor the gearing for your environment.
The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction material
and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide
consistent traction control. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable
across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement you can
count on, tank after tank. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without
altering the slipper adjustment. A center ball bearing maintains precise,
long-lasting alignment with near friction-free running and virtually zero
maintenance. Only Traxxas has it!
Diameter Disc Brake
A large 42mm steel rotor spins between two unique semi-metallic brake pads which
when engaged, bind the drilled steel disc for efficient 4 wheel braking action.
The proven design provides fast fade free braking to bring Revo 3.3 to a stop
almost as quickly as it accelerates.
Limited Slip Differentials
The Revo 3.3 differential housings feature tunable sealed differentials with
internals that offer a broad range of tuning options. Precision sealed with
Traxxas X-ring silicone seals, the Revo 3.3 differentials are designed for
long-lasting performance and the ability to tune for specific running
conditions. Built to handle extreme torque and power, these differentials offer
unmatched versatility and toughness.
The reliable and incredibly tough Revo Drivetrain utilizes sealed super-duty
driveshafts throughout the driveline. Expandable rubber seals prevent friction
causing dirt from entering the half shafts. True curvilinear splines provide
smooth performance and large rubber-sealed stub axle bearings are used for
long-lasting, smooth running performance. Revo's sliding half shaft design is
clearly superior, eliminating the metal-to-metal drive pin plunge friction that
causes friction and wear in metal driveshafts and the possibility bent shafts.
Plus there's no need to limit suspension travel just to keep the drive pins from
popping out of the cups. Revo's driveshafts are engineered for durable, smooth,

Traxxas exclusive rubber sealed pivot balls maintain factory smooth performance
even in the harshest environments. The unique design allows easy adjustment,

in all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.
Pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive hardware is used throughout for extra
strength and easy maintenance and repair. The black-oxide rust-resistant finish

Revo includes the TQ-3 pistol grip radio system, a precision throttle servo, and
a high-torque digital steering servo. The dedicated channels provide full
control over Revo's throttle/braking, steering, and shifting functions with the
optional two-speed gear set installed. The TQ-3 delivers up to a quarter-mile
range, electronic trim controls, low-battery indicator, servo-reversing, and the
exclusive grip-mounted third channel switch.
